A boy and his dog

There's something about a little boy and his dog that is special. Will just loves his dog Ella. Ella was his first word, the first thing he asks about in the morning, and the first thing he prays about at bedtime. He won't go outside to play without Ella, and Ella always gets her turn to shoot the basketball or draw with sidewalk chalk. Ella is always at his side when he's injured, and when Will cries Ella howls. There's a special connection between the two - it's pretty sweet. I can't imagine having Will without Ella. She's a special dog!

19 Months Old

Well, Will is nineteen months old today. He is full of energy and constantly on the go! He still loves to read his books and reading about animals seems to be his favorite. He has also taken to cars and trains. We take advantage of the train tables at the local library and bookstores. It's also a great time for him to learn to share!

Will's First Craft

I decided to start a blog so that family members can view recent information about what is going on in the Stone household. It seems like a pretty easy way for everyone to stay updated with Will's growth (or lack thereof).

This is a picture of Will doing his first craft at home. He really enjoyed gluing the shapes onto his paper. As you can tell, this was very serious business.

Today is Joe's 30th birthday. We're going out with Joe's family to celebrate tonight. What a special day for us!
