Day Out with Thomas!

Yesterday Will, Grandma, Nonnie, and I went to New Haven, Kentucky for a Day out with Thomas the Tank Engine. Papa John and Diddy found out about this wonderful event and bought the tickets for all of us to attend! We left the house at 8 am and arrived just in time for our 9:50 train departure. We got to ride on one of the coaches (they were not Annie or Clarabel) that was pulled by Thomas! That was very exciting. Unfortunately, there were four clowns on our train and Will was not excited about that!

After our train ride Will posed for a picture with Thomas. He was very excited about that. They had an imagination area where kids could play with train tables and legos, color pictures, and use stamps. They had another area that had a miniature golf course. Will loved that! We found another tent that had balloons and some temporary tattoos! Will didn't quite understand that the "sticker" had to go on his arm. He told the lady that he wanted it on his shirt. Nonnie finally convinced Will to get one on his arm. He is so proud of him Thomas tattoo that is on his "elbow."

Will decided to take both of his grandmothers to the souvenir tent...... I don't need to say much about that. Will left with plenty of articles to remind him of his special day! We stopped for a peaceful lunch at Subway on our way home from New Haven. What a great day!
