Will had his first basketball practice tonight. I was a little nervous because all of the boys were SO big. My little 29 pound boy seemed so small next to the giants. Well, he did GREAT! He can't get the ball into the hoop, but he is great at defence! He had such great confidence in himself! When he was on offense (playing one on one) he dribbled it right to the hoop and shot. I was totally shocked. He seemed to really like basketball. He has his first game tomorrow.... after one practice!
The team huddle - Joe is one of the assistant coaches because we didn't know anyone involved in basketball at the Y.
Go Will!!! He was going in for a layup during the warm-ups.
