So, this post is for Doug..... yes, there are only two more weeks until Lauren is born (as of tomorrow - Tuesday). We celebrated Joe's 31st birthday over the weekend and we had a great time. On Friday night, Joe opened his presents from Will and me. Will picked out a UK hat for Joe and it came with a free t-shirt! I got him a new UK hoodie and 2 tickets to the UK basketball game on Saturday. I guess his birthday had a theme this year! On Saturday, we went to Jack's first birthday party (you can visit Jack's Life blog to read about that). After the party, Joe went to the game and Will and I made him a red velvet cake - his favorite! After the game, we had some friends over for dinner and cake. We had a great time. I was so exhausted after that busy day! On Sunday we went out to lunch with Connie to celebrate Joe's birthday, but then spent the rest of the day relaxing and watching football.
Today Will is sick. He was up at 4:00 am and he was throwing up through the morning. He's managed to keep everything down since his lunch and he just woke up from a great nap. Hopefully this little bug is over! He managed to throw up all over his sheets, blankets, comforter, and mom! It's miserable when they are so sick! We've "enjoyed" a nice day at home today just resting and playing together.
I'll keep you all posted on Lauren's birth.... so amazed that it's coming so quickly! Any thoughts on the color of her hair?

So sorry (both for you and Joe , AND WILL!) Glad you had the birthday celebrations without incident.We were disappointed that we couldn't go out to Sunday dinner with the family, but thought it best to stay indoors because of the bad weather. We're not hazarding a guess on Lauren's hair color; just know that it will be "just right". Love, Diddy and Papa John
I guess with a scheduled C-section and knowing her gender, you can't really have anything else to guess. But I am going to guess that she will have no hair like her aunt. When she gets hair, I think it will be blonde.
