Vacation

We took a family vacation this weekend. Stephen and Janie invited us down to Knoxville for the weekend. We had a great time on Saturday just hanging out at their new house. They have a great "old" house that they are fixing up. They've already done so much work on it! Will loved going for a ride in the trailer on Stephen's riding mower. They have such a large backyard and the kids really loved being out there. Will had his first "sleep over" at a friend's house and it was so cute. Nathan and Luke share a room and Will joined them at bedtime. I went in to check on them and Luke was standing in his crib and the older boys were reading books in Nathan's bed. They were being very quiet, so we left them. They all eventually fell asleep and had a good night. Lauren was a different story.....

On Sunday we all headed out to Dollywood. The Stewarts have season passes to Dollywood and they had two free "friend" passes! We got to go for free!! It opened at 10:00 and we were there at 10:05. That's pretty good for four little ones! The daddies got to go on all the big roller coasters and Janie and I stayed with the little ones. The boys met up with us right before lunch and we spent the afternoon in kiddie land. Will and Lauren really enjoyed being with their buddies and I actually think that Lauren and Luke "communicated" a bit. We caught them talking and hitting each other a few times. It was really cute! Luke and Lauren not so excited about having their picture taken.We got to ride the Dollywood train. It had a coal car and the kids got to watch the men shovel the coal into the engine. It was "very cool." The kids loved the train ride!We got to ride the carousel. Will and Lauren loved it!
