The Zoo, part 2

Here are the rest of the pictures from our vacation. We had a great time in Florida and it was so nice to see Cousin Bradley and Uncle Paul. Enjoy -

Lauren missed the first trip to the zoo because she had to take a nap. I think she is at the perfect age for the zoo. She is really into animals, as most kids are at her age, and seeing them "in person" was so exciting to her.

Lauren feeding the giraffe with Grandma. She wasn't too excited about this, but it didn't terrify her too much.
Lauren really enjoyed watching the giraffes from the platform. You can see the two babies in the background. Those were very exciting for her - they were just her size.
Lauren looking at the monkeys with Grandma. She loved the little monkeys.
They had a new education center at the zoo. It had real animals in cages (snakes, iguanas, chinchillas, lizards, frogs, etc) and then it had a "vet" center. They had quite a selection of large stuffed animals for the kids to practice their vet skills. Will and Lauren chose the turtle. Will is making sure the turtle has a healthy heart.
Lauren is checking out the turtle with Grandma.
Lauren is listening to the turtle's face....????They had these microscopes for the kids to look through. They had samples of animal hair, butterfly wings, and more. Will thought it was pretty cool.
