We had a great night in Shades Of Green - the military resort on Disney's property. Will was THRILLED with being in a hotel room with Mom and Dad. When we got to our room he just ran around and pointed out all the cool things - "There's two beds, one for you and one for me. There's a thing that makes coffee. There's a refrigerator. Look, there's a table and chairs. Oh! We have a window and a place to walk on outside." Joe and I realized that Will hasn't stayed in too many hotels in his life. In fact, I don't think Lauren's ever stayed in a hotel, so Will hasn't been in one within the past two years.

Will in his bed on day 2. He was drinking milk and watching Playhouse Disney (of course!). We spend the morning of Day 2 doing all the things that Lauren couldn't do - re-riding all the roller coasters and anything else that might be too scary for her (like Buzz Lightyear, etc.)

Pull harder, Will.

Mickey Ice Cream..... we were waiting to go get Lauren. Mom and Dad dropped her off after a short nap in the car.

We took Lauren to Mickey and Minnie's houses. We tried to get a picture of them on the chair, but she was a little overwhelmed.

We went into the giant tent where the Princesses live, but the line was over an hour long and it wasn't worth it to us. Lauren doesn't really know the princesses too well and she's probably be too scared to get pictures with them. She got to see all of the shows and parades while she was with us, and I think that was plenty for her. The kids found some books while we were waiting for their Mickey Ears to be embroidered and they just enjoyed reading together.

Will in his Mickey Ears! Handsome dude!

Lauren refused to put the ears on while we were at Disney. She has since warmed up to them and she'll wear them around the house. Lauren takes a long time to get used to new things... whether it's an item or a person. Will was the exact same way - and I think most kids are like that.

Lauren waiting to ride the carousel with Daddy. You can see the castle behind them.

Will waiting to ride the carousel. He loves his Mickey Ears!

Horsie!

Will riding the carousel (for the second time....)

Me with my two kids! The show in front of the castle was beginning. I think the castle looks beautiful at night and the kids like the color changes!

Lauren dancing with Daddy as the show is being performed. She fell in love with the princesses while we were there. Now EVERYTHING is princess around here. She even says that Santa is a princess!
We watched the parade at 7:00 and then Mom and Dad picked us up from the Transportation Station. We had a great time. The time spent with Will was fantastic and we both got to experience his excitement. I loved having Lauren with us for half of day 2 and she just fell in love with the princesses, the castle, It's a Small World, and everything else that was age appropriate for her. We're looking forward to going back again!!!
