Have you ever made cookies and icing with an 8 month old and a three year old? Pretty fun. Will and I had a great time making the cookie dough while Lauren was asleep and she woke up just in time to help us frost them. Will icing a cookie. He LOVES to make cookies and ice them! He's getting very good at keeping the icing on the cookie and he does a great job putting sprinkles and other fun things on them. Lauren trying to help Will ice his cookie. Lauren REALLY wanted a cookie. I eventually gave her an arrowroot cooking to munch on while we frosted. She finally got her hands on some icing. She actually stuck her whole hand in her mouth and ate a bunch of frosting. Her first sweet... a little earlier than planned! This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago (you can tell that the weather was still warm!). Lauren climbed to the gate at the bottom of the stairs! She was shaking the gate and making a ton of noise. She was very proud of herself!
