Play Date

Today Will had a play date with his buddy Nathan. We met Nathan at Storytime at the local library and the boys have been buddies ever since. Janie and I attend MOPS together on the second and fourth Fridays of the month and so we like to get the boys together on the "off" weeks. The boys enjoy the time to play together and the mommies enjoy being able to talk to another adult. The boys love to play with the basketball hoops, trucks, and ride on toys. It's amazing how much fun other peoples toys can be - even if they're the same ones that you have at home. We always eat lunch together - the boys always have grilled cheese and apple sauce. Janie and I take the time to make something creative and then we share the recipe. It's always nice to have a new recipe to share with the family the next week.

Will usually falls asleep on the way home from his play dates..... Here's a picture of him asleep in the car. He has been into reading Goodnight Moon the past couple of days. He loves to find the mouse on the color pages. He has also discovered the moon at night, so he likes to point out the moon in all of his books. This one is special because there is a moon on almost every page!
