Last week my cousins came to visit me at my house. They are actually my mommy's cousins (and her aunt and uncle), but they are close to my age. Tyler is 5, Jenna is 7 1/2, and Allison is 10. They are on a big trip around the eastern United States. They started out in Florida and they are ending up in New York! It was great that they stopped off at my house. We had lots of fun together.
They got to my house late Monday night and we played outside a little bit. The next morning we all went to the aquatic center and went swimming. The water was cold, but we still had a great time. My cousins went down the big blue water slide and they even went off the diving boards. I really enjoyed watching them play. On Wednesday we all went to Shilito Park and we played on the swings and the slides. I love to play on the swings and slides, and it was even more fun with my cousins. On Thursday we all went to the Kentucky Horse Park and I got to ride a horse. Well, actually it was a pony. I loved petting all of the horses there. They were so soft! We even got to see the baby horses. They were smaller than the mommy horses! My mommy and I left to get home for my nap and mommy packed for our trip to Florida. Everyone left on Friday morning (except my daddy who has to work). I was so sad when my cousins left because we had so much fun together.
It was a lot of fun to have my cousins stay at my house because I always had someone to play with. We would play cars, go on my swings, or ride bikes outside. It was really neat to get to know them and I am looking forward to seeing them at Christmas. Be sure to check out their website about their travels.
