Yesterday was a very exciting day for Will. Will woke up around 8 am (thank goodness.... He usually wakes up with the sun around 6:15-6:30) and we came downstairs for a big bowl of cheerios and some cantaloupe. After breakfast Will and I headed off to the grocery store to stock up on food for the week. Will loves to go grocery shopping for many reasons. First, he loves to drive the car carts (I think he thinks that he's really driving!).

Second, he loves to help me pick out produce. This is an excellent way to boost his vocabulary. He can say cantaloupe and now he can say watermelon (he gets all of the syllables, too). At first he called the watermelon a "big cantaloupe," but now he can name it correctly. After we left the grocery store, we headed off to Starbucks to get daddy his "milk" - Will called it that because I asked for skim milk. He was very proud to give that to daddy when we got home.

Joe took Will outside to play on the swings while I finished working in the kitchen. I was making Lemonade Pie ..... Grandma (or G-mama to Will) Osmundson's recipe. It was so hot that Joe and I decided to let Will play in the sprinkler. He wasn't to wild about it at first. Will was enjoying watching his daddy run through the water and make silly noises and faces. Eventually, Will decided that it was great fun to get wet! We even put Ella under the sprinkler for a while. She did not like that!

When Will woke up from his nap, we picked up Papa John and Diddy on our way to Winchester. Nick (Papa John's brother) and Mel (Nick's wife) are in town and we thought it would be fun to visit them. We got to see Nick, Mel, Chris, Pat, Tommy, Mike (Will's godfather), Johnny, and Cade. Cade is Johnny and Jolie's little boy - he's 2 1/2. Will and Cade had a great time playing together. Will loved playing golf with his cousin. Cade has a great swing and Will loved to go chase the balls after Cade hit them.

They both got to practice putting on Tommy's putting greens and Will wouldn't even stop to eat. He just wanted to play outside. That was a shame, because it's not everyday that you get dinner at Pat and Tommy's house! We got home really late and Will was exhausted. We figured Will would sleep in the next morning, but he's up early! We're off to the pool again today!
